Flying Scotsman

If you were asked to name a steam locomotive then surely the A1 class Flying Scotsman would be top of the list. Originally built in 1923 at Doncaster, the engine served on the LNER east coast mainline. In 1924 it appeared at the British Empire Exhibition where it was named and numbered 4472. We caught up with this iconic locomotive working at the Bluebell railway in 2017 sporting a British Railway livery and smoke deflectors. Our beautiful prints are a must for anyone interested in railways and British achievement.
